Nkechi Diallo, Formerly Known as Rachel Dolezal, Loses Arizona School Job Over OnlyFans Posts

In February 2024, Catalina Foothills School District in Tucson, Arizona, said Nkechi Diallo, formerly known publicly as Rachel Dolezal, was no longer employed after the district learned of her OnlyFans posts. The district said the posts conflicted with its employee social-media and staff ethics policies; that is the employer’s stated explanation, not a court or administrative finding.

Why did Nkechi Diallo lose her school job?

The district said it learned of Diallo’s OnlyFans posts on the afternoon before it issued its statement. It said those posts were contrary to its “Use of Social Media by District Employees” policy and its staff ethics policy, and confirmed that she was no longer employed.

Arizona’s Family, which reproduced the district’s statement on February 14, 2024, quoted it as saying: “We only learned of Ms. Nkechi Diallo’s OnlyFans social media posts yesterday afternoon. Her posts are contrary to our district’s ‘Use of Social Media by District Employees’ policy (below) and our staff ethics policy. She is no longer employed by the Catalina Foothills School District.” The statement explains the district’s position; it does not establish a legal conclusion or reveal the full process behind the employment decision.

What work did she do for the district?

Contemporary reporting by The Spokesman-Review described Diallo as a part-time after-school instructor in Catalina Foothills’ Community Schools program and a substitute through Educational Services Inc. The newspaper reported that she worked with students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Arizona’s Family reported that her OnlyFans account was linked to her public Instagram profile and that the district discovered the account that week. That detail provides context for how the posts came to attention; it does not, by itself, establish every factor the district considered.

What does the headline’s reference to Rachel Dolezal mean?

Diallo was formerly known publicly as Rachel Dolezal. The job loss covered here concerns her 2024 employment with Catalina Foothills School District in Arizona. It is separate from her earlier public career and the controversy over her racial identity.

The Spokesman-Review reported that she had previously been president of Spokane’s NAACP chapter and that the documentary The Rachel Divide premiered in 2018. Those details provide background, but they are not the reason the Arizona district gave for ending her employment.

What is known—and not established—about the decision?

  • Established in the district’s account: It learned of the OnlyFans posts, considered them contrary to two named policies, and said Diallo was no longer employed.
  • Reported by local outlets: Her district work involved after-school instruction and substitute teaching, and her public Instagram profile linked to the OnlyFans account.
  • Not established by those statements: The complete policy language, any legal or administrative finding, Diallo’s response or motives, or her employment status after the 2024 report.

The available reporting supports describing this as a district employment decision based on the employer’s stated policy concerns. It does not support treating the episode as a general rule for schools or as a precedent that determines what other employers may do.
