In a November interview with PEOPLE, the sisters reflected on that transition; their comments offer a snapshot of how they viewed life after WWE at the time, not a complete account of their activities today.
Why Nikki and Brie Garcia left WWE
In March 2023, Nikki and Brie announced that they and WWE had mutually agreed not to renew their contracts. They began using Garcia as their professional name. The Los Angeles Times reported that the sisters discussed the departure on The Nikki & Brie Show and framed it as the beginning of a new chapter.
The announcement described a contract decision, not a definitive retirement from every kind of wrestling or entertainment appearance. Their later comments about life after WWE are best understood as their perspective on the transition, rather than proof that they had permanently left all wrestling behind.
What are Nikki and Brie Garcia doing after leaving WWE?
In a November 21, 2023 interview with PEOPLE, syndicated by Yahoo News, Nikki and Brie talked about pursuing work with more freedom while making room for family. Their post-WWE paths included shared entertainment work as well as Nikki’s wine business.

More say over work and opportunities
Nikki described the shift as having more control over which opportunities to accept. A November 2023 411MANIA summary of the interview quoted her saying, “We’re in this place of reclaiming our power and making our own decisions and not having to ask permission.” The point was autonomy over career choices; the interview did not suggest that every future opportunity would be outside wrestling.
Entertainment beyond the ring
The sisters hosted Twin Love, a reality dating series. 411MANIA reported in November 2023 that it had launched on Prime Video and Freevee. That is historical launch information, not confirmation that the series remains available on either service now.

Nikki’s wine business
Nikki also spoke about becoming a winemaker and founding Bonita Bonita. She said she had not expected to become a winemaker or live in wine country, and described the change as a “rebirth at 40.” The interview captured a personal and professional change, rather than a claim that wine had replaced all her other work.
How family fit into their new chapter
Both sisters described trying to balance career opportunities with family life. Brie said they had become more mindful about letting their brains rest from work and being present with family. Their remarks make the transition less a story of simply swapping one job for another and more a question of how they wanted to divide time and attention.

What their 2023 comments do—and don’t—establish
The March departure announcement and November interview document how the sisters described that period: they had left WWE after their contracts were not renewed, were exploring work beyond the ring, and valued greater control and family time. Those sources do not establish their complete current work slate in 2026, nor do they prove permanent retirement from wrestling appearances. Likewise, the 2023 report of Twin Love’s launch should not be treated as a current streaming availability listing.
