Contemporaneous reports described Kidman in a white button-down and gray or soft tailored denim trousers. Her daughters wore denim-forward looks with coordinated details. The reports do not establish exact retail models, so the outfits cannot be reliably identified as particular products.
What was behind the “breakup bangs” label?
Kidman’s new fringe was described as wispy or as bangs. The phrase “breakup bangs” was a media framing of the haircut in light of the separation news; it does not establish why she chose the style. Us Weekly’s coverage described the look, while Marie Claire’s hair report quoted her stylist on the cut and styling.

What her stylist said about the hair
Stylist Adir Abergel told Marie Claire: “For the premiere of Matthieu’s collection for Chanel, we gave Nicole a fresh cut and leaned into an effortless, early ’70s French vibe.” Marie Claire reported that Abergel applied Virtue Damage Reverse Serum and Virtue Unfrizz Cream, let Kidman’s hair air dry, then used a diffuser and Virtue Healing Oil. This is the stylist’s account of preparing the look, not a personal product recommendation from Kidman.
Marie Claire also offered general styling suggestions: a diffuser can enhance texture and volume, while a one-inch flat iron can help shape bangs. Its mention of the ghd Chronos Styler 1-inch Flat Iron is a shopping suggestion, not evidence that Kidman used that specific tool.

The separation and divorce timeline
Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, 2025, shortly before the Chanel show. The Associated Press later reported that a judge dissolved the marriage on January 6, 2026, so the divorce is no longer pending. AP reported that Judge Stephanie J. Williams wrote that “there exist such irreconcilable difference between the parties that would render continuation of the marriage impractical and impossible.” The Associated Press report covers the court outcome.
