Yes. A brief preview for One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” video showed Niall Horan shirtless in a desert setting, according to PopCrush’s report published on 22 October 2014. The clip was part of a daily teaser rollout ahead of the full video’s premiere—not a separate song teaser.
What the preview showed
PopCrush described the teaser as showing Horan shirtless and gyrating in the desert. That report establishes what appeared in the short preview; it does not establish that the full video contains an extended shirtless scene. The outlet’s headline and description are reporting, not a direct statement from Horan, the band, or the video team. PopCrush’s 22 October 2014 report

Its concept gave each member a persona, with Niall Horan assigned “Light.” Harry Styles was “Love,” Liam Payne “Power,” Louis Tomlinson “Danger,” and Zayn Malik “Mystery.” Danny DeVito appeared as the group’s director within the video’s concept; the production credits name Ben Winston as producer and Ben Turner and Gabe Turner as directors.
