The 2021 policy describes recording the right of way and highway features, uploading current and previous recordings to NHAI’s Data Lake, and review by the Independent Engineer, Authority Engineer or Supervision Consultant. It also provides for use of footage in monthly progress reporting and allows drone videography when needed. The New Indian Express report says the documentary will incorporate monthly recordings, but does not say it replaces the drone-monitoring workflow.
