This is a historical Canadian release calendar. The dates below reflect availability in Canada during February 2025, not guaranteed availability today. Netflix’s catalogue changes frequently, and a title added during the month may have since left the service.
Dates are Canadian release dates where they were reported in the contemporaneous Canada-specific schedules. Netflix does not necessarily publish a precise Canadian release time, so this guide does not assume a particular hour.

The calendar below combines the detailed Canadian schedule published by MobileSyrup with the later cross-check published by Tribute. Netflix Original identifies a Netflix premiere or Netflix-branded exclusive; catalogue addition means an older or previously released film or series that became available in Canada. A February debut does not necessarily mean a film was newly made.

The major Netflix Original and exclusive premieres
Kinda Pregnant — February 5
This Netflix comedy stars Amy Schumer as Lainy, who pretends to be pregnant after feeling jealous of her friend’s pregnancy. Jillian Bell, Will Forte, Damon Wayans Jr. and Brianne Howey are also in the cast. It was a major global Netflix performer, reaching 25.1 million views on Netflix’s English-film list for the week of February 3. That is a global Netflix figure, not a Canadian audience measurement; see Netflix’s weekly Top 10 report.
Apple Cider Vinegar — February 6
Kaitlyn Dever leads this limited series about wellness influencer Belle Gibson and the consequences of false health claims. It is inspired by real events and dramatized for television, not a documentary or a literal factual reconstruction. Netflix described the series as “true-ish,” a useful warning that viewers should not treat every scene as established fact.
Cassandra — February 6
This German six-episode thriller follows a family that moves into an advanced smart home. The home’s electronic assistant gradually reveals sinister intentions, turning familiar domestic technology into the source of the danger. Netflix announced the series as a worldwide exclusive from February 6 in its official release announcement.
Sweet Magnolias Season 4 — February 6
The fourth season of Netflix’s returning romantic drama arrived alongside Apple Cider Vinegar, Cassandra and The Åre Murders. It was one of the month’s main choices for viewers looking for an ongoing relationship-focused series rather than a new standalone film.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep — February 11
This animated Netflix film returns to the Witcher universe. Geralt investigates attacks in a seaside village and becomes caught in a conflict between humans and merpeople. Netflix confirmed the February 11 debut in its Tudum preview. It is a fantasy adventure and not a new live-action season.
Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3 — February 13
The final episodes arrived as Season 6, Part 3. Netflix divided the sixth season into separate batches, so this should not be labelled Season 7 or described as an unrelated new season. The February 13 release completed the series; Netflix’s coverage confirms the final-episode date.
American Murder: Gabby Petito — February 17
This three-part true-crime documentary examines the 2021 disappearance and killing of Gabby Petito through interviews, journals, text messages and video footage. Netflix’s Canadian title page confirms the three-episode format and TV-MA classification, while Netflix’s production coverage describes its approach. Because the case has been publicly disputed in parts, the series should be understood as one production’s account rather than an uncontested record of every detail.

- Ultra-speedy streaming: Roku Ultra is 30% faster than any other Roku player, delivering a lightning-fast interface and apps that launch in a snap.
- Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
- The ultimate Roku remote: The rechargeable Roku Voice Remote Pro offers backlit buttons, hands-free voice controls, and a lost remote finder.
- No more fumbling in the dark: See what you’re pressing with backlit buttons.
- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
Zero Day — February 20
Robert De Niro stars as former U.S. president George Mullen, who investigates a devastating cyberattack in this six-episode political thriller. Angela Bassett, Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton, Joan Allen, Matthew Modine and Dan Stevens are among the supporting cast. Netflix described it as De Niro’s first starring television-series role, not his first television appearance of any kind. The cyberattack is fictional; Netflix’s fact-checking article addresses the distinction.
Running Point — February 27
Kate Hudson plays Isla Gordon, who is unexpectedly put in charge of her family’s professional basketball franchise. The comedy was created with Mindy Kaling among its executive producers and launched with a ten-episode first season. Netflix confirmed the February 27 premiere and episode count in its series coverage.
Toxic Town — February 27
This four-episode British limited series stars Jodie Whittaker, Aimee Lou Wood, Claudia Jessie and Rory Kinnear. It is a dramatized series based on a real environmental scandal, not a documentary. That distinction matters: the subject is drawn from real events, but the programme uses scripted performances and dramatic reconstruction.
Demon City — February 27
This Japanese action film follows an ex-hitman framed for the murder of his family. The Canadian archive records it as a February addition, and Netflix’s global coverage identified it as one of the new Japanese films attracting international attention. The Canadian catalogue record is useful for its historical Netflix Canada entry.
Other notable Netflix releases
February’s original and exclusive slate was broader than the ten headline titles above. It also included Celebrity Bear Hunt, Envious Season 2, Prison Cell 211, Sintonia Season 5, The Åre Murders, Golden Kamuy: The Hunt of Prisoners in Hokkaido, Supreme Models, The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan, Surviving Black Hawk Down, Death Before the Wedding, Honeymoon Crasher, The Exchange Season 2, La Dolce Villa, Love Forever, Melo Movie, Valeria Season 4, Court of Gold, Offline Love, Full Swing Season 3, A Copenhagen Love Story, Counterattack and Squad 36. Netflix’s February 24 global report also highlighted La Dolce Villa, Running Point, Toxic Town, Demon City, Counterattack and A Copenhagen Love Story internationally; those figures should not be confused with a Canada-specific ranking.

Several of February’s most recognizable films were not new Netflix productions. They were catalogue additions: older or previously released movies licensed for Canadian streaming during the month.
Action, crime and thrillers
Aftermath, Rambo, Rambo: Last Blood, American Gangster, Peninsula, Train to Busan, Renfield, Blue Beetle, The Crow (1994), The Meg, Cowboys & Aliens, Runaway Jury and The Machine joined the Canadian catalogue. Demon City belongs in the new Netflix film group rather than this licensed-film list.

Drama and prestige films
Viewers could find Arrival, The Fabelmans, Café de Flore, Polite Society, Spoiler Alert, 8 Mile, Apollo 13 and The Wolf of Wall Street. The historical archive also records Pulp Fiction, The Good House, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, Really Love, The Remains of the Day, She Said and Scream as February additions, although the initial published date calendars did not assign every one of these titles a date.
Comedy and romance
Dirty Grandpa and Love Again were the clearest comedy-oriented catalogue additions, while American Beauty and Spoiler Alert offered more adult relationship drama. Netflix’s own February releases added further romantic and comedy options, including La Dolce Villa, Honeymoon Crasher, Love Forever and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFamily and children
The family additions included Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, Despicable Me 3, Minions, The Boss Baby, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Gabby’s Dollhouse Season 11 and SpongeBob SquarePants Season 8 supplied episodic children’s programming. Ratings and suitability can vary by child, so parents should check the individual Canadian Netflix listing.
International and non-English releases
February was especially varied for international viewers:
- Germany: Cassandra, a smart-home thriller.
- Sweden: The Åre Murders.
- Japan: Golden Kamuy: The Hunt of Prisoners in Hokkaido and Demon City.
- South Korea: Melo Movie.
- India: Dhoom Dhaam and the documentary The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan.
- Denmark: A Copenhagen Love Story, a drama about an author and a single father whose relationship is tested by fertility treatment. Netflix’s Canadian title page provides the local listing.
- France: Squad 36.
- Mexico: Counterattack, which Netflix identified as the number-one non-English film in the week of February 24 in its global report.
- United Kingdom: Toxic Town, a scripted limited series based on a real environmental scandal.
Language, subtitles and dubbing can differ by territory and title. A country of origin does not by itself establish which audio or subtitle options were offered in Canada.
Sports, documentaries, anime and live events
Documentaries and sports
Documentary viewers had several strong options: Supreme Models, Surviving Black Hawk Down, American Murder: Gabby Petito, Court of Gold, Miss Italia Mustn’t Die and Aitana: Metamorphosis. Sports-focused programming included Royal Rumble 2025, The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan, Court of Gold and Full Swing Season 3.

Anime and weekly scheduling
Sakamoto Days was the important scheduling exception. It did not arrive as a complete February season. The Canadian schedule listed new episodes on February 1, 8, 15 and 22. It should therefore be described as a weekly episode release, not as four separate series additions or a full-season binge drop.

Live and event programming
Royal Rumble 2025 arrived on February 1, and The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was listed for February 23. These should be treated differently from ordinary films and series: live availability, event timing and replay access may not follow the same pattern as an evergreen on-demand title. The historical archive also records WWE event titles including WWE Armageddon, WWE Bad Blood, WWE Great American Bash, WWE Insurrextion, WWE No Way Out, WWE Payback and WWE Vengeance during the month.

The January announcements were useful but were not a final audit of everything that appeared in the Canadian catalogue. The unofficial New On Netflix Canada February 2025 archive records 145 additions and 115 removals. Its index includes titles that were absent from, or underemphasized by, the initial press-calendar lists, including Anuja, Dabba Cartel, Dalah: Death and the Flowers, First Frost, Graveyard, Hello, Love, Again, Inheritance Detective, Love Never Lies: Poland, Missing: The Other Side, Newbie in the Club, Nodame Cantabile, Pantheon, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Rita, Secret Jouju: Guardians of Star, Sumala, Too Hot to Handle: Germany, Trump: An American Dream, Uncredited: The Story of Passinho and several WWE events.
Other archive-only or date-unassigned records include Abduction, Adventures of the Super Monkey: Journey to the West, Aruna & Her Palate, Be Nice to People, The Blank Menu for You, Bolehkah Sekali Saja Kumenangis, Cells at Work!, Charlotte, Daaku Maharaaj, Dabangg 3, Death Whisperer 2, Dr. Coto’s Clinic, The Drop, Flower Shop Without Rose, Friendship Playlist, Identity, Identity Thief, Jesus Revolution, Kadhalikka Neramillai, Killer Elite, Maximum Penalty 2, Once Upon a Time in the West, One Piece: Episode of Alabasta, One Piece: Episode of Chopper: Bloom in the Winter Miracle, Plane, Posesif, Really Love, Rikuoh, The Search for Instagram’s Worst Con Artist, Sosyal Climbers, Spec~birth, Tegkang, Tuiskoms and Violent Night.

Because the archive index does not provide a clean exact date beside every entry, these additional records are best used as a completeness check. They should not be assigned a specific February date without checking the title-level record or a contemporaneous announcement. This is why the date table above is described as a verified or cross-checked schedule, not a claim that every one of the archive’s 145 additions has been date-mapped here.
What left Netflix Canada in February 2025
Departures are separate from additions and often changed during the month. The following high-profile removals were reported in Canadian departure coverage:
| Date | Notable departures |
|---|---|
| February 1 | E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial |
| February 7 | Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Kingsman: The Secret Service |
| February 8 | Black Lightning Seasons 1–4 |
| February 14 | Gladiator, Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout |
| February 15 | 19-2 Seasons 1–3 and Happy Gilmore |
This is the concise, high-profile list reported by Exclaim!. A broader removal roundup from Yahoo Canada included additional titles such as Belfast, The Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, Hotel Transylvania, Lucy and Why Him?. The difference reflects the scope of the lists: one focuses on headline confirmed departures, while the other presents a broader removal calendar.

How to use this historical list now
- Search the title in Netflix Canada. A film’s February 2025 release date does not guarantee that its licence is still active.
- Check the Canadian title page. Netflix availability is territory-specific, and the U.S. catalogue is not a substitute for the Canadian listing.
- Check the format. A returning season, limited series, documentary, comedy special, weekly anime episode and live event can have different release and replay behaviour.
- Do not treat global Top 10 data as Canadian viewing data. Netflix’s reported numbers are useful for international interest, but they do not establish what was most watched in Canada.
- Check the age rating and audio options. These can vary by title and market, particularly for family viewing and international films.
U.S. schedule versus Canada
Netflix release schedules are not automatically identical across North America. A title can be available in Canada but absent from the U.S. list, or appear on a U.S. list without being offered in Canada, because licences, release arrangements and catalogue rights differ by territory. This guide is specifically for Netflix Canada; it should not be used as a U.S. release calendar. The Canadian schedule also contained local catalogue additions such as the extensive Murdoch Mysteries run and Canadian availability for titles that may not have appeared in U.S. roundups.
Bottom line
For a February 2025 watchlist, start with Apple Cider Vinegar, Zero Day, Kinda Pregnant, Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3, American Murder: Gabby Petito and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. Documentary and sports viewers had Surviving Black Hawk Down, Court of Gold, Full Swing Season 3 and Aitana: Metamorphosis, while families received several established animated films. The important qualification is that this is a record of what was added in Canada during February 2025—not a promise that every title remains streamable now.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the February 2025 Netflix Canada additions still available?
Not necessarily. Netflix’s catalogue changes as licences expire and titles rotate. This article records Canadian availability during February 2025; search each title on Netflix Canada for its current status.
Was Sakamoto Days released as a complete season in February 2025?
No. The Canadian schedule listed weekly episodes on February 1, 8, 15 and 22. It should be described as a weekly release rather than a full-season February drop.
Were Arrival, Pulp Fiction and The Wolf of Wall Street new Netflix movies?
They were new additions to the Canadian Netflix catalogue, but they were older licensed films rather than February 2025 Netflix productions.
Did Netflix’s February 2025 global Top 10 figures represent Canadian viewing?
No. Figures such as Kinda Pregnant’s 25.1 million global views and American Murder: Gabby Petito’s 31.3 million global views were Netflix’s worldwide measurements, not Canada-specific audience totals.
What were the biggest Netflix Canada titles leaving in February 2025?
High-profile reported departures included E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, both Kingsman films, all four seasons of Black Lightning, Gladiator, several Mission: Impossible films, 19-2 and Happy Gilmore.
The Bottom Line
February 2025’s best Netflix Canada bets were Apple Cider Vinegar, Zero Day, Kinda Pregnant, Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3, American Murder: Gabby Petito and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. Treat the calendar as historical: additions, removals, pricing and present-day availability may all have changed.
