The Netflix float was called Wednesday’s Feast and made its debut at the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Macy’s Studios said it spent more than 100 hours sculpting the faces of Wednesday and Pugsley Addams. Jenna Ortega is the actor behind Netflix’s Wednesday, but official parade materials reviewed here do not document her personally unveiling or appearing with the float.
What was the Wednesday Addams float?
Wednesday’s Feast was a Netflix entry in the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, held on November 28, 2024. Macy’s listed it among six new floats in that year’s lineup. The official float fact sheet attributes the entry to Netflix Inc. and identifies Bishop Briggs as its performer.
Macy’s Studios reported that its team spent more than 100 hours sculpting the faces of Wednesday and Pugsley Addams. The company described the work as an artistic first for the parade. Macy’s 2024 new-floats fact sheet provides the float-specific details.
Did Jenna Ortega unveil or ride the float?
The confirmed connection is between Ortega and the character: Netflix Tudum identifies her as Wednesday Addams in the series. That does not establish that Ortega attended the parade or participated in the float’s reveal. Macy’s 2024 lineup announcement and float fact sheet name the float and its performer but do not say Ortega appeared. Netflix Tudum’s June 2022 profile documents her role in the series.
