What cosmetic procedures did NeNe Leakes confirm?
In a June 17, 2016 report, Bravo said Leakes confirmed she had undergone another rhinoplasty. The article also reported that she had a first nose procedure in 2010. Bravo’s 2016 report is the basis for this account; it does not establish that any other procedure explains changes in her appearance.
Leakes described the reasons for the later procedure in her own terms. She said cartilage was growing and that her nasal tip was touching her upper lip. She also said the first procedure involved narrowing her nostrils and that she wanted her nose to look more beautiful. These are her stated explanations, not an independent medical assessment.
Did she have fillers, Botox, or laser treatments?
In a November 20, 2018 Bravo interview, Leakes said she was open to beauty treatments that did not require being put to sleep, and mentioned fillers, Botox, laser treatments, and skincare. The interview supports that she discussed or expressed interest in those options; it does not establish that she underwent each treatment.

Bravo also published a Watch What Happens Live highlight about whether Leakes had work done, framing it around her defending her right to look good. That description does not enumerate additional procedures. Older Bravo pages address facial-work rumors and include a first-person blog entry, but the available material does not support confidently reporting further specifics from them.
Why did NeNe Leakes leave RHOA?
On September 17, 2020, Leakes announced that she would not return for Season 13. Bravo quoted her statement: “I have made the very hard and difficult decision to not be a part of Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13.” Bravo’s report of her announcement does not disclose every private contract discussion behind the decision.

Bravo responded by wishing her well and thanking her for sharing her journey with the show’s fans for over a decade. The statement confirmed her departure; it did not spell out a detailed reason for it.

In June 2020, amid reports about her status, Bravo told Entertainment Tonight: “There is no truth to this story — NeNe was not fired and conversations for the next season are still ongoing.” That was Bravo’s statement at that time, before Leakes announced her Season 13 departure in September. An October 1, 2020 Entertainment Tonight article also reported that Leakes said she was not fired, but its available excerpt does not provide a full transcript. The clearest supported account is therefore time-specific: Bravo denied a firing in June while talks were ongoing, and Leakes later announced she would not return. The available reporting does not establish every detail of the negotiations.
