Is it official, and is the download safe?
Windows Mode calls this a custom theme made by the page’s author. Its download link points to a separate files.oxavi.com host. The page does not identify Microsoft Store availability, franchise authorization, a licensing statement, a file hash, file size, or malware-scan results. That does not establish that the file is malicious or improperly distributed; it means the page does not provide enough information to verify its provenance, licensing, or integrity. Do not treat it as an official or Microsoft-approved product.
- Before opening anything, show file extensions in File Explorer and check that the downloaded file has an expected theme-related extension rather than being an unfamiliar executable installer.

How to install it on Windows

- Wait for the download to finish, inspect its extension, and scan it with your security software.
- If you decide the file is trustworthy, double-click it to open or install the theme.
- Right-click an empty area of the desktop and choose Personalize.
- Open Themes and select the newly installed theme. You can adjust available theme settings from Windows Personalization.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
The download does not start
Try the publisher’s suggested Save link as option. If the browser or security software blocks the file, do not bypass the warning automatically; inspect the file and use the safety checks above.

The theme does not appear
Check Settings > Personalization > Themes for the installed theme and confirm that the download completed. If the file opens as an archive rather than a theme, inspect its contents without running unfamiliar files. If it still cannot be installed, use a gallery image as a background instead.
A wallpaper crops badly
Images in the gallery may have different aspect ratios, including mobile formats. On 16:10 laptops, ultrawide or portrait monitors, high-DPI displays, and multi-monitor setups, an image can crop or scale differently from its preview. Choose an image that suits your display and adjust the background fit in Windows settings.
You want to undo the theme
Open Settings > Personalization > Themes and select a different installed theme, such as your previous one. This returns Windows to that theme’s settings.
Should you download it?
The pack may suit a fan who wants a quick anime-themed Windows desktop and is comfortable with a third-party download. The Windows Mode page was updated May 26, 2025; its current availability is not established here. If you require official licensing, a published file hash, a documented malware scan, or confirmed support for a particular Windows build, the page does not provide those assurances. Using individual wallpapers avoids installing a theme package, though image rights and desktop suitability are not established for every gallery image.
