Spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 7, Episode 18. At the Gunga Villa ruins, the heroes’ fight against All For One takes a sharp turn when Gigantomachia arrives—and, under Shinso’s brainwashing, attacks his former master. The episode is listed as Season 7, Episode 18 by Apple TV and Crunchyroll, and as episode 156 on the official Japanese site.
What happens in “It’s a Small World”?
The episode is set at the Gunga Villa ruins, where Hawks, Tokoyami, and other heroes are trying to stop All For One. Shiketsu High students Inasa Yoarashi, Seiji Shishikura, and Camie Utsushimi join the battle, adding reinforcements as the heroes coordinate their attacks.
All For One’s rewind changes the stakes. As he becomes younger, his strength increases, leaving the heroes in a more difficult position. The fight shifts again when Kirishima’s group arrives alongside Gigantomachia.
Gigantomachia does not come to rescue All For One. The heroes’ earlier battle at the Jaku Hospital ruins—including Ashido’s actions—helped Shinso brainwash him. He now turns on his former master, bringing the consequences of the fighting on two fronts together at Gunga Villa.

The episode ends with the heroes and Gigantomachia converging against All For One, leaving the outcome of their combined attack unresolved.
Why does Gigantomachia attack All For One?
Shinso has brainwashed Gigantomachia. That reversal connects the Gunga Villa fight to the earlier conflict at the Jaku Hospital ruins: the heroes’ actions there enabled Shinso to take control, and the result arrives as a startling change in allegiance on this battlefield.
