The MrBeast Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas ran April 13–15, 2025, but guests interviewed after the event said key attractions were missing, mystery bags were delayed or disappointing, and the package did not match what they expected. MrBeast acknowledged that the experience fell short; Resorts World later offered affected guests a full refund, according to FOX5 Las Vegas.
What the MrBeast Experience promised
Reporting by the BBC and KVVU described the event as a roughly $1,000 package that included a hotel stay and promised fan activities, games, themed food and drinks, and a mystery bag. The original sales page was no longer available when those reports were published, so the descriptions of the package come from the outlets’ reporting rather than a review of the original listing.
The event was scheduled for April 13–15, 2025, at Resorts World Las Vegas. That setting and the advertised mix of hotel and fan-focused activities shaped guests’ expectations: attendees were paying for more than an ordinary room stay.
What guests said they received
Activities and themed offerings
Guests told KVVU that expected restaurant and pool activations were unavailable, or that staff did not know about them. Those are attendee accounts reported by KVVU; they do not independently establish what every guest was promised or what was available throughout the property.

Why guests demanded answers
As dissatisfaction became public, guests confronted Resorts World CEO Alex Dixon and sought refunds. KVVU quoted David Yacksyzn saying, “This is a terrible experience,” and reporting that guests wanted their money back. The complaints centered on whether the activities and inclusions they had expected were delivered.
MrBeast responded to a fan complaint, according to KVVU, acknowledging that the experience did not meet expectations and saying his team was addressing it. The BBC quoted him as saying it “definitely isn’t the experience we hoped they’d deliver”. The BBC also reported that he offered to make it up to affected guests by inviting them to his studio.

Did Resorts World offer a full refund?
Yes. FOX5 Las Vegas reported on April 16, 2025, that Resorts World emailed affected guests offering a full refund of the package price, including nightly charges, taxes, and fees, to the card on file. This was a reported offer; it does not establish that every guest accepted it or that every refund was processed.
A first-person account published by Random Recess says its author received refund confirmation and recounts a studio invitation. That personal account is not evidence that all attendees received refunds or visited the studio.

What is—and is not—established
- Established in contemporaneous reporting: the event dates and venue, the approximate package price and advertised elements, guest complaints, MrBeast’s public acknowledgment, and FOX5’s report of a full-refund offer.
- Not established by the reporting cited here: that every advertised activation was unavailable to every attendee, that all guests received a processed refund, or that every studio invitation resulted in a visit.
- No legal finding is reported: attendee frustration alone does not establish fraud or another legal violation, and the cited coverage does not report a lawsuit or a formal finding by a regulator or court.
The reports document a mismatch between what some attendees expected and what they said they experienced, followed by a resort refund offer and a separate response from MrBeast. They do not establish that every guest’s experience was identical.
