VIZ announced in 2024 that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Vol. 1 would be released in English in Spring 2025. That window has passed. VIZ’s current official series page still lists the manga and links to volume purchases, but those links do not confirm current stock, price, or the exact English print release date.
What VIZ announced about the English release
On May 31, 2024, Siliconera reported VIZ’s announcement that the first collected volume of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex would arrive in English in Spring 2025. The announcement concerned the manga volume—not an anime premiere. Siliconera’s report reproduces the announcement, but the report is the available source for it here.
Because Spring 2025 is now in the past, it should be treated as a historical release window, not an upcoming date. The announcement alone does not establish the precise print street date or whether a copy is currently available from a particular retailer.
Where to check official English access
VIZ’s official Shonen Jump series page lists Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, credits story and supervision to Masashi Kishimoto and art to Mikio Ikemoto, and includes “Buy the volume” links. The page also displays recent chapter dates, including Chapter 37 on September 17, 2026.

Digital chapter access and free availability depend on location; VIZ’s page points readers to partner MANGA Plus for the latest free chapters where available. Check the page and the linked seller for the territory, format, price, and stock that apply to you. A purchase link is not confirmation of live inventory.

Shueisha’s Japanese listing for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Vol. 9 gives an October 2, 2026 publication date for print and digital editions. The Japanese print edition is listed at 176 pages with ISBN 978-4-08-885208-9. Those details are for the Japanese ninth volume; they do not establish specifications, publication timing, or availability for the English first volume. See Shueisha’s Vol. 9 listing.
