On November 1, 2024, Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, shared conclusions from a nearly three-month internal investigation. As reported by the Associated Press, a letter from lead attorney Alex Spiro said investigators found several isolated instances of workplace harassment and misconduct, but no basis for specified allegations of sexual misconduct by team members or knowingly employing people with proclivities or histories toward illegal or questionable legal conduct. Those are conclusions attributed to the investigators’ letter—not a court ruling or a public release of the full report.
What did the MrBeast investigation find?
In a November 1, 2024 report, the Associated Press described findings in a letter to the company’s board from Alex Spiro of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, who led the investigation. The letter reportedly identified “several isolated instances of workplace harassment and misconduct.” It also said investigators found no basis for allegations that MrBeast team members committed sexual misconduct or that the company knowingly employed people with “proclivities or histories towards illegal or questionable legal conduct.” Associated Press, November 1, 2024

These are the investigators’ reported conclusions as described by AP. They do not establish that every allegation was false, and they are not judicial findings.
What did investigators review?
AP reported that the inquiry lasted nearly three months. Spiro’s letter said investigators interviewed 39 current and former employees and reviewed millions of documents from phones, email, and messaging services including Discord and Slack. The letter’s reported description does not provide a precise document count or make the evidence itself available for public review. Associated Press, November 1, 2024

What workplace actions did the company report?
AP reported that the company said it had fired between five and ten employees. A company spokesman declined to give an exact number, identify the employees, or explain the reason for any individual firing. The available account therefore does not support linking a particular dismissal to a particular allegation.
Spiro’s letter also said the company had hired new executives and that some employees were receiving targeted training and executive coaching for unspecified policy violations. The letter framed the issue in terms of a fast-growing company’s workplace systems: “It is not uncommon that policies and practices essential in a mature company would lag behind commercial success,” it said. Did the investigation clear MrBeast?
The public account reports findings about allegations concerning team members and the company’s hiring, but it does not present a court determination or a comprehensive, allegation-by-allegation record. It is most accurate to say that the investigators’ letter, as described by AP, reported no basis for the specified allegations. That phrasing preserves the difference between an internal inquiry’s conclusion and a legal judgment.
Was the full report released?
No full investigative report or underlying evidence is included in the public account cited here. AP described a two-page findings letter; it did not publish the complete investigative file, interview notes, underlying messages, or a case-by-case account of the evidence. Readers consequently cannot independently assess every interview, document, or disputed incident from the letter’s reported conclusions alone. The absence of those materials limits independent verification, but does not by itself show that the conclusions were wrong. Associated Press, November 1, 2024

What did MrBeast say about the announcement?
AP reported that Donaldson said in his post that he “was asked to refrain from making public statements to enable a detailed and unbiased investigation.” That is his reported explanation; the AP account does not independently establish the terms of any instruction. In 2026, AP reported on a lawsuit by a former employee alleging years of harassment and that she was fired after maternity leave. That is later, separately reported context; it should not be treated as a finding of the 2024 investigation or as proof that a later allegation was established. Associated Press, 2026
