When did MrBeast propose to Thea Booysen?
Donaldson proposed to Booysen on Christmas Day 2024, in a private moment with family present. The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Day 2025, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Donaldson said he had not wanted a public spectacle. “My friends thought I would want to propose in a very public way, like some sort of spectacle at the Super Bowl or somewhere else really big like that, but I knew that I wanted it to be the opposite, to be really private and intimate,” he told People, in remarks reproduced by the Times.
What wedding plans did they discuss?
In the same January 2025 report, Booysen said they did not intend to hold a large, extravagant celebration. “It’s going to be nice, but it’s certainly going to be intimate [with] close family and friends,” she said. She also described an island “far away from just about everybody” as a possible setting.

That was an expressed idea, not a confirmed venue. The later wedding announcement does not establish where the ceremony took place.
Are MrBeast and Thea Booysen married?
Yes. On July 21, 2026, Donaldson announced that he and Booysen had married and shared wedding photos, according to Geo News. The outlet quoted his captions: “I found MrsBeast,” and “it was the best day of my life.” The report does not name the wedding location.
