On-chain researchers have alleged that cryptocurrency wallets they linked to MrBeast received token allocations and later sold tokens for substantial profits. Their figures—including an estimate of roughly $11.45 million tied to SuperVerse—are analyst calculations based on wallet attribution, not findings by a court or regulator. A separate 2026 case involving a Beast Industries editor and prediction-market trades is unrelated to those allegations.
What are the crypto allegations?
In a 2024 investigation, Loock Advisory said it identified more than 50 wallets it linked to Jimmy Donaldson, the creator known as MrBeast. The analysts described connections based on public wallet disclosures, token allocations, transfers and shared exchange deposit addresses. They alleged that wallets associated with Donaldson received allocations in several crypto projects and later sold tokens for profit.
Loock Advisory estimated roughly $11,447,453.96 in profit from SuperVerse-related activity, after accounting for an estimated initial investment and later activity. It also discussed activity involving Ethernity Chain (ERN), AIOZ, Refinable, SHOPX, XCAD and other projects. These are the report’s estimates and conclusions; the analysis does not prove that Donaldson owned or controlled every wallet attributed to him. Read Loock Advisory’s investigation.
Blockscope Research has also summarized estimates associated with the allegations, including a figure of more than $20 million in alleged profits overall. It cites work by SomaXBT, Kasper Loock and other on-chain analysts. This is not an official investigation or adjudication, and figures repeated across the accounts may draw on overlapping underlying analysis rather than independent verification. What evidence do researchers cite?
The case presented by the analysts is a chain of inferences: wallet disclosures and transaction records are used to connect addresses; transfers and shared exchange deposit addresses are used to support those links; and token allocations and subsequent sales are used to estimate profits. Loock Advisory provides transaction references and explains its reasoning, but wallet attribution remains the analysts’ conclusion—not a legal determination of ownership or intent.
That distinction matters. Blockchain transactions can show that assets moved between addresses, but the interpretation of who controlled an address and why a transaction occurred depends on the evidence linking it to a person. The cited figures should therefore be described as researchers’ estimates of activity in wallets they linked to Donaldson, not as confirmed personal profits or proven investor losses.

Did MrBeast respond, and has he been found guilty?
A 2026 Senate Banking Committee letter says Donaldson denied wrongdoing and said third parties handle his crypto investments. That is the committee letter’s summary of his reported response, rather than a direct statement reproduced here. The letter discusses the allegations and seeks information from Beast Industries about its acquisition of Step; it does not decide whether the crypto claims are true. The sources cited here do not establish that a court or regulator found Donaldson liable for crypto fraud, or quantify proven losses caused by him. The allegations remain allegations; the profit figures are estimates based on researchers’ wallet attribution and transaction analysis.

How the 2026 Kalshi case is different
A separate story reported in 2026 concerns Artem Kaptur, an editor at Beast Industries. TechCrunch reported that prediction-market operator Kalshi said it found “reasonable cause” to believe Kaptur used nonpublic information about MrBeast videos to trade on its platform. The report says Kalshi imposed a two-year ban and sanctions. Those are reported actions and an accusation concerning an employee—not evidence of Donaldson’s involvement in the earlier crypto allegations. Read TechCrunch’s report.
The Associated Press later reported that Beast Industries fired Kaptur and said it had initiated an independent investigation. A company spokesperson said it had “no tolerance for this behavior,” referring to the employee incident. Read the Associated Press report.
