Spoilers for MobLand Season 1, Episode 7, “The Crossroads.” Maeve Harrigan secretly points Richie Stevenson toward Seraphina, but Richie expands the plan and takes Brendan as well. Harry tracks the siblings to Antwerp and tries to stop a cartel execution. Seraphina survives; Brendan Harrigan is the episode’s fatal casualty.
What happens in “The Crossroads”?
Harry Da Souza arrives at the remote warehouse where Seraphina and Brendan were meant to complete a diamond deal and finds a massacre. The siblings are gone. Following the trail to Antwerp, Harry discovers that Richie Stevenson’s orders have sent them onward to his Mexican cartel allies.

At the same time, Maeve is furious with Richie. She had secretly agreed to give up Seraphina, but Richie has taken Brendan too, saying he wanted insurance. Maeve conceals her part in the arrangement from Conrad and acts as if she has only just learned that Richie has the children.
Why did Richie take Brendan too?
Richie says he took Brendan as insurance, despite Maeve’s deal concerning Seraphina. That distinction matters: Maeve’s secret bargain put Seraphina in danger, while Richie chose to widen the scheme by taking her brother as well. The resulting crisis exposes the danger of Maeve’s attempt to manage the situation through a private arrangement—and the distrust within the Harrigan family.

How does Harry try to rescue the siblings?
Harry pushes through the Moroccan gang and learns that the children have been routed to the cartel. Jaime Lopez prepares to have them executed on a live video feed. With time running out, Harry calls Kat McAllister in a last-ditch effort to intervene. The episode’s recap credits that call with saving Seraphina, but Brendan does not survive.
Who dies, and does Seraphina survive?
Brendan Harrigan is the casualty. Seraphina survives the execution plan. Maeve’s role remains hidden from Conrad during the episode, but the rescue’s outcome deepens the family’s internal distrust rather than resolving the consequences of her betrayal.

“The Crossroads” is Season 1, Episode 7 of MobLand. Matt Cabral’s recap, published May 11, 2025, reports that Conrad tells Harry, “Bring my babies home,” after learning the siblings are missing. Treat that as dialogue as reported in Cabral’s recap.
Season 1’s finale is Episode 10, “The Beast in Me,” not this episode. Paramount Press Express said Season 2 premiered globally on September 18, 2026, with ten episodes releasing weekly on Fridays and its finale scheduled for November 20, 2026; it also reported a Season 3 renewal dated September 3, 2026. These are time-sensitive schedule details. The official press page says Season 1 is available to binge on Paramount+ globally.
