Moana 2 poster revealed was the news from Disney’s D23 presentation in August 2024: Dwayne Johnson introduced a new trailer and poster for the animated sequel. Disney said both were available at the time of the announcement.
When was the Moana 2 poster revealed?
The first reveal covered here took place at the Disney Entertainment Showcase during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Disney UK published its announcement on 12 August 2024, crediting Johnson, who voices Maui, with revealing the trailer and poster. Disney UK’s D23 announcement said both assets were then available.
That was not the only poster announcement for the film. Disney UK later announced a TV spot and another poster on 26 September, then said a new poster was available alongside its 8 October trailer announcement. These were separate promotional updates, not the original D23 reveal. Disney UK’s September announcement
