Her marriage to wrestler Randy Savage ended in divorce in 1992. The medical examiner ruled her death an accident caused by acute toxicity involving multiple drugs. Her height is not reliably established in the sources available.
Who was Miss Elizabeth?
Elizabeth Ann Hulette was an American professional wrestling manager and occasional performer, best known as Miss Elizabeth. WWE’s retrospective biography calls her the “First Lady of Wrestling” and describes her as a distinctive presence in the company’s 1980s programming. It says Randy Savage introduced her as his manager in 1985, and credits her with a prominent role in his major storylines, including his WrestleMania IV championship win. She returned to manage Savage in WCW in 1996 and later appeared with other wrestlers and factions. WWE’s Miss Elizabeth biography presents this career account.
How old was Miss Elizabeth when she died?
Hulette was 42 when she died on May 1, 2003. An Associated Press report published that day identified her by her birth name and said she was 42. The AP report, republished by Our Midland, does not establish a birth date, so a precise date of birth should not be inferred from her age alone.
What was Miss Elizabeth’s cause of death?
The Cobb County Medical Examiner recorded the cause as “ACUTE TOXICITY – MULTIPLE DRUGS” and the manner of death as “ACCIDENT.” The autopsy report lists alcohol and multiple drugs in its toxicology findings. A copy of the medical examiner’s report is hosted by Autopsyfiles.org. The Smoking Gun also reported the accidental acute-toxicity finding in its account of the examiner’s conclusions. Its August 5, 2003 report provides additional contemporary coverage. The official manner-of-death finding was accident; it does not support claims that another person caused her death.

Who were Miss Elizabeth’s husbands?
Randy Savage
Hulette was married to professional wrestler Randy “Macho Man” Savage. The Associated Press reported that they divorced in 1992. Their personal relationship also became part of the wrestling stories WWE recounts in its retrospective biography.
Reported later marriage
Some secondary biographical references list a later marriage to Cary Lubetsky, but that detail is not corroborated by the contemporary reporting or official records cited here. It is therefore best treated as reported, not as a confirmed fact. Secondary accounts also identify Lex Luger as a partner before Hulette’s death; the sources available here do not establish that he was her husband.

How tall was Miss Elizabeth?
Her height cannot be stated confidently from the available evidence. Published profiles give conflicting figures, generally between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches, and some listings appear to describe a billed height rather than a verified measurement. The conflicting claims do not establish one reliable figure, so no single height should be treated as confirmed.
