Its release has several dates rather than one: the U.S. Disney Channel and Disney XD simulcast was January 25, 2025; Miraculous Corp announced a Disney+ launch beginning July 2, 2025; and Disney+ Press later listed more episodes for August 26, 2026. Those milestones refer to different distribution events.
What “cutting-edge visuals” means for Season 6
Miraculous Corp says Unreal Engine was used to produce Season 6’s new visuals. The company describes Unreal Engine as a gaming platform and real-time 3D creation tool. That identifies the production technology behind the announced visual refresh, but it does not establish a measurable improvement in animation quality, resolution, frame rate, or any other technical specification.
The franchise announcement does not provide an independent shot-by-shot comparison with earlier seasons. “Cutting-edge” is promotional language, not a published technical assessment of the finished episodes.
When did Season 6 premiere?
The date depends on which release event is meant. The U.S. television premiere, Disney+ launch announcement, and later Disney+ episode listing are separate milestones.

Miraculous Corp associated Season 6 with the franchise’s tenth anniversary. In the premiere announcement, Maria Doolan, Head of Content Partnerships and Distribution at Miraculous Corp, said: “The launch of season six coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Miraculous brand and promises an exciting new chapter in the franchise.” That is the company’s characterization of the milestone, rather than an assessment of the season’s visual quality.
