Yes. Michelle Wie and Jonnie West married in Beverly Hills, California, on August 10, 2019, according to contemporary reports. Later references from the LPGA and Nike also identify West as Wie’s husband.
When did Michelle Wie and Jonnie West get married?
Wie and West married on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Hawaii News Now and NBC Sports reported the wedding the following day; NBC Sports said the ceremony and reception took place at a private home in Beverly Hills.
How did the news become public?
Wie announced her engagement in an Instagram post in March 2019. The Los Angeles Times reported that she shared the news on March 10 with the words, “My person for life!!!!!!!!!”
After the wedding, Wie shared photos on Instagram. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported her caption, which addressed West as her husband: “MR. AND MRS. WEST Y’ALL!!!! I love you HUSBAND with every living thing in my body and I didn’t think I could love you any more, but then I saw you at the end of the aisle and my heart exploded. #wiegoeswest…”

The LPGA referred to Wie as having married West in August in a 2020 article about her maternity leave. A November 2024 Nike profile also calls West her husband and says the couple had a daughter, Makenna, in 2020.
