Entertainment outlets described Michael Rainey Jr. and Haile Rose as a couple in 2022, but the available reporting does not establish whether they are together now. The original headline’s word “secret” is not supported: their relationship was already being discussed publicly at the time.
What is known about Michael Rainey Jr. and Haile Rose?
In September 2022, The Shade Room reported on a birthday dedication Rose posted for Rainey and identified her as a social-media influencer. That is evidence of public coverage and a social-media post, not a direct statement from either person confirming the relationship. The Shade Room’s 2022 report

Media Traffic reported on November 2, 2022, that Rainey and Rose discussed how they met during an Instagram Live. The outlet’s account is secondary reporting; the live itself is not independently verified here. Media Traffic’s report about the Instagram Live
Are they still together?
The available reporting does not confirm their current relationship status. In March 2023, Media Traffic reported breakup speculation, citing alleged unfollowing and fan discussion. It did not report confirmation from Rainey or Rose, so those social-media signals should not be treated as proof of a breakup. Media Traffic’s March 2023 report

Accordingly, the most accurate answer is that outlets reported the pair as a couple in 2022, while whether they remain together is unconfirmed.
Why was the relationship called “secret”?
“Secret” appears in the headline framing, not as a verified description from either Rainey or Rose. By 2022, entertainment coverage was already discussing Rose’s birthday post and the pair’s Instagram Live, so the relationship was not entirely outside public discussion. The reports do not establish how either person characterized their privacy.

What is known about Haile Rose?
The Shade Room described Rose as a social-media influencer in its September 2022 coverage. That is a dated description from the outlet, not a current or independently verified profile. The report also gave a follower figure at the time; because social-media counts change, it should not be read as her present audience size.
