What did the July 2023 report say?
PerthNow’s 8 July 2023 story described the relationship as rekindled, around six months after the widely reported Noosa incident. Its account relied on a reported sighting of Yarbrough leaving Clarke’s home and unnamed sources’ descriptions of reactions. Those details support what PerthNow reported at the time; they do not verify the couple’s relationship status today.
Earlier, PerthNow’s 3 March 2023 story had also described signs of an apparent reconciliation, including Yarbrough being seen leaving Clarke’s house. A reported sighting is not conclusive proof that two people are in a relationship.
What happened in Noosa?
ABC reported on 20 January 2023 that Queensland Police were investigating an incident dated to 10 January at Lions Park on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville. ABC said footage appeared to show Yarbrough accusing Clarke of infidelity, which Clarke denied, and a woman appearing to slap him. The accusation was not established as fact. Police told ABC they were reviewing footage and could not comment further while the matter was under investigation. That report does not establish the investigation’s eventual outcome.

Clarke later apologized for his conduct in the lead-up to the altercation. In a statement quoted by ABC, he said: “My actions in the lead-up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable.”
What did Yarbrough say afterward?
In comments from a Stellar interview reported by PerthNow, Yarbrough described the experience as painful and exposing: “Relationships can be tough and complicated and most people don’t have theirs splashed on the front page of the paper or dissected on breakfast TV. I felt heartbroken and deeply embarrassed. I just wanted to hide forever.” She also said: “I’ve realised actually what’s best is to just be focused on myself and my business for now.” These are Yarbrough’s account of her feelings and priorities during that interview period, not an independent account of the disputed events.

Was there another public sign in 2023?
7NEWS reported that Clarke posted an Instagram caption in April 2023 while returning to Noosa: “Back in Noosa, a little more wholesome this time.” It is a dated social-media detail; it does not confirm the status of his relationship with Yarbrough.
