También dijo que familiares la habían desalentado de hablar del tema. Los reportes consultados informan que su padre expresó apoyo y que se presentó una denuncia, pero no establecen un desenlace judicial ni identifican públicamente a la persona señalada.
Qué contó Melenie Carmona
En una publicación de Instagram que se hizo pública el 8 y 9 de marzo de 2021, Carmona relató que, años antes, un familiar cercano la había tocado sin su consentimiento. Según lo reportado por Telemundo, también describió que algunos familiares le pedían que guardara silencio. Su relato es una denuncia pública atribuida a ella; no debe presentarse como un hecho establecido por una sentencia.
Telemundo reprodujo estas palabras de Carmona sobre hablar con su padre: “No les voy a decir que fue fácil, fue demasiado difícil, porque tuve que hablar con mi papá.”
Cuándo habría ocurrido y qué se sabe de la fecha
Los Angeles Times, citando a Agencia Reforma, situó el presunto episodio el 12 de noviembre de 2016. Los reportes discrepan sobre la edad de Carmona en ese momento: esa nota indicó que tenía 17 años, mientras que una publicación posterior de Univision dijo que tenía 16. Por esa diferencia, no es prudente afirmar una edad como definitiva.

Qué dijeron sus padres y qué se informó sobre la denuncia
Tras hacerse público el relato, Arturo Carmona manifestó su apoyo a su hija y anunció acciones legales, según Telemundo. En una nota posterior, Univision informó que se había presentado una denuncia en 2021.
Univision también reportó comentarios de Alicia Villarreal sobre el caso y señaló que ella dijo no saber cómo había avanzado el asunto legal. En esa misma cobertura, Arturo describió el expediente como abierto en el momento de sus declaraciones. Son afirmaciones atribuidas a quienes hablaron con el medio; no verifican por sí solas el estado actual del procedimiento ni su resultado.

Los reportes consultados no dieron a conocer públicamente la identidad de la persona a la que aludió Carmona. Tampoco permiten inferirla. Alicia Villarreal señaló que la palabra “primo” puede usarse de manera coloquial y no necesariamente significa que exista un parentesco de sangre, según Univision. Por ello, no corresponde identificar a una persona ni precisar el vínculo más allá de lo que está atribuido a las fuentes.
