Ishitani’s visibility among One Piece viewers comes chiefly from a small group of highly discussed works within a television series that has run for decades. A secondary staff-credit reference attributes episodes 957, 982 and 1015 to Ishitani as director, and also credits her with directing One Piece Fan Letter. Those episode credits should be checked against the episodes’ own end credits or a primary production record; the database is a useful lead, not an official Toei credit source. What is One Piece Fan Letter?
One Piece Fan Letter is a 2024 television special. Toei Animation USA’s official catalog lists it as a 30-minute special. The secondary staff-credit reference names Ishitani as its director; Toei’s catalog independently confirms the special’s year and format.
Toei’s 2025 investor presentation reports that the special was available on streaming platforms in Japan and overseas, and that its Blu-ray launched on July 30, 2025. The presentation does not name services or confirm current availability in any particular country, so those statements are not enough to identify a streaming platform or a region-specific edition for an individual viewer.
