InStyle identified the necklace as Cartier’s Juste Un Clou and reported its price as $18,700 in coverage published January 8, 2026. That is a dated editorial price, not a verified current Cartier listing.
British Vogue’s August 16, 2024 profile described Meghan’s version as the small yellow-gold choker, set with 57 diamonds totaling 0.20 carats. Vogue reported its price then as “upwards of £12,000.” These are separate reports in different currencies and from different dates; they do not establish a price increase or today’s retail price.
What is the Juste Un Clou design?
The collection’s name means “just a nail,” and its jewelry takes the form of a nail wrapped around the body. British Vogue traced the original Juste Un Clou bracelet to 1971 and credited its design to Cartier designer Aldo Cipullo. The collection later expanded to include necklaces, rings and brooches.
