Meghan Markle did not confirm a third season of With Love, Meghan. Asked about the show’s return, she pointed instead to an upcoming holiday special: “Well, the holiday special is coming out in November. It’s a really good one.” She also described her and Prince Harry’s Netflix arrangement as shifting from an overall deal to a first-look deal.
What Meghan Markle said about season three
Markle answered the question at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., during a conversation with Alyson Shontell, Fortune’s editor-in-chief and chief content officer. Asked whether With Love, Meghan would return for a third season, she said: “Well, the holiday special is coming out in November. It’s a really good one.”
That response refers to the holiday special; it is not an announcement that season three has been renewed. The October 14, 2025, report does not establish whether Netflix or Archewell later announced another season.
How Markle described the Netflix arrangement
Markle said the couple’s earlier overall deal with Netflix had reached its term and that its extension became a first-look arrangement. In her account, the change gives them room to bring projects to Netflix first and to take work elsewhere when it is not the right fit for the streamer.

“My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal. Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else.”
The description of the earlier deal as a reported $100 million agreement, and the newer arrangement as multi-year, comes from the report; those are not contract terms quoted from Netflix or independently verified here.
