Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, asked Netflix to postpone the premiere of With Love, Meghan amid the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Netflix moved the date from January 15 to March 4, 2025, saying the change was made at Meghan’s request and with its support because of the devastation caused by the fires.
What changed with the Netflix series?
With Love, Meghan is a lifestyle series produced and hosted by Meghan. Netflix describes it as a mix of practical how-tos and conversations with guests, with activities including cooking, gardening and hosting. Guests named by Netflix include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters. Netflix’s series guide announced the revised premiere date.
The eight-episode series had been scheduled to premiere January 15, 2025. Netflix moved its premiere to March 4, 2025. ITV reported the original and revised dates on January 12, 2025, and Netflix later confirmed the new date in its series guide. ITV’s contemporaneous report also described the change as a postponement.
Why was the premiere postponed?
Netflix said the release was moved “due to the ongoing devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires.” The announcement said the change was requested by Meghan and had Netflix’s full support. Meghan’s statement, reproduced by Netflix Tudum, said: “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

A January 20, 2026 Daily Beast report, citing sources close to the show through Page Six, claimed it would not return for a third season. The report said Netflix had been contacted for confirmation; it was not a Netflix announcement. The Daily Beast report should therefore be treated as an attributed, unconfirmed claim. The sources cited here do not establish the show’s definitive status as of October 8, 2026.
