Tyler Hynes, her on-screen romantic lead, said in April 2025 that he did not have a significant other; no later partner has been verified here. Their characters’ romance is part of the movie, not evidence that King and Hynes are a real-life couple.
Are Hunter King and Tyler Hynes a real couple?
No. King and Hynes play Alana Higman and Derrick, whose romance is fictional. The Kansas City Chiefs’ casting announcement describes Alana as a lifelong Chiefs fan and Derrick as the team’s director of fan engagement; the film’s story brings them together. King married filmmaker Chris Copier on February 14, 2026. They met in early 2022 while working on the independent film Give Me Your Eyes, began dating more than a year later, and became engaged in October 2024, according to Just Jared’s November 30, 2024 report. A report published in December 2025 gave their wedding date as February 14, 2026. Copier also worked on Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, connecting their professional lives to the film as well as to each other.

What he has publicly said
Hynes has kept his private life guarded and publicly denied having a significant other in an April 2025 Facebook post, as reported by Parade. No later partner has been verified here. Online rumors should not be treated as confirmation of a relationship.

Who is Ed Begley Jr.’s partner?
Begley Jr. plays Paul, Alana’s grandfather. His character’s place in the story is clear, but a sufficiently current authoritative source for Begley Jr.’s relationship status is not established here. It would be misleading to present an older biography or unverified claim as a current answer.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is a Hallmark movie starring King and Hynes, with Begley Jr. among the cast. Hallmark’s official page identifies the film and its leads: Hallmark Channel’s movie page. Hallmark Media, the NFL, Skydance Sports, and the Kansas City Chiefs partnered on the project, according to the Chiefs’ June 25, 2024 announcement.

The plot follows Alana’s family, whose Chiefs fandom includes a lucky hat and a competition for the team’s Fan of the Year honor, and Derrick, a new Chiefs employee. Donna Kelce also appears in a cameo, as reported by Time. In the film, Paul says, “Even if the Chiefs lose, I still win—’cause I have everything: family, friends, love.” That is dialogue from the character, not a statement about Begley Jr.’s personal life.
