The pair first attracted attention in 2023. Coughlan’s real-life dating life has also been confused with her professional partnership with Luke Newton. The two actors play Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, but the researched record does not establish them as a real-life couple.
Luke Newton and Antonia Roumelioti
Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, publicly confirmed his relationship with professional dancer Antonia Roumelioti on Instagram in May 2025.
The pair had been photographed together before Newton’s post, but the Instagram confirmation provided a clearer public basis for describing Roumelioti as his partner. That public confirmation is also the strongest correction to recurring fan speculation about Newton and Nicola Coughlan.
Newton’s confirmation does not establish an engagement, marriage or permanent future for the couple. It establishes only what he chose to make public at the time: that he and Roumelioti were in a relationship.

Simone Ashley, who played Kate Sharma Bridgerton, has described herself as entering a “single era” after her relationship with Constantin “Tino” Klein ended at the beginning of 2025.
Ashley and Klein made their relationship public in 2023 after reportedly dating for approximately two years. Ashley’s own comments support describing her as single following the breakup, but they do not support speculation about a new partner. No reliable source in the available record identifies someone she is dating now.

A January 2025 British Vogue interview addressed his relationship status and his wish to protect parts of his personal life from public scrutiny. Bailey has also pushed back against inaccurate relationship headlines and assumptions based on fan interest.
That is why “Jonathan Bailey is single” is too strong. The accurate description is that his current relationship status is private or undisclosed. His chemistry with Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate should not be used as evidence of a romance away from the series.
Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha: professional chemistry, not confirmed romance
Season 4 places Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha at the center of the show’s next major romance. Thompson plays Benedict Bridgerton, while Ha plays Sophie Baek. Their chemistry is part of the acting partnership that brings Benedict and Sophie’s fictional story to the screen.

- Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley: Their marriage as Anthony and Kate is fictional. No reliable evidence establishes a real-life relationship between them.
- Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha: Their Season 4 chemistry reflects their work as Benedict and Sophie. Neither has publicly confirmed a romance with the other.

Availability varies by retailer, territory and date, and a licensed product should not be described as having been used or endorsed by a specific cast member unless that separate claim is documented.
The careful answer to who the cast is dating
The strongest public confirmations are Dynevor’s engagement to Fuller, Newton’s relationship with Roumelioti and Andoh’s marriage to Cunnell. Page’s relationship with Brown is public but intentionally private, while Coughlan’s relationship with Dunn and Jessie’s link to Edwards should be dated and attributed to reporting.
Ashley has publicly described herself as single after her split from Klein. Bailey, Thompson, Ha and Dodd have not provided reliable public confirmation of a current partner.
