Norah, Yarah, and Rosa Mukanga are the Dutch sisters behind Let It Happen, a dance trio whose 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show brought their choreography to a much wider audience. Norah, Yarah, and Rosa Mukanga are sisters from the Netherlands who perform together as Let It Happen. Their work draws on hip-hop, funk, street, and freestyle dance. Their family’s connection to dance predates their public attention. In a 2018 interview, their mother, Lieke, recalled that the family would move the chairs aside after meals so they could dance. She remembered the girls dancing from around age two; that is her recollection, not a verified start date. She described it as something the family shared: “Dat is altijd wel een familieding geweest” (“That has always been a family thing”), as quoted by LINDA.

In 2018, an Instagram video of the sisters drew the attention that led to their television breakthrough. LINDA. reported that musician Common shared one of their Instagram posts, after which show producers contacted the sisters and invited them to the United States. NOS Jeugdjournaal likewise reported that someone from the television show had seen an Instagram video and invited them (LINDA.; NOS Jeugdjournaal).

The sisters continued performing and sharing dance work after their television appearance.
