How did she become a pilot?
Sánchez Bezos grew up around airplanes in Albuquerque, where her father worked as an airplane mechanic and flight instructor. In a July 2026 interview with AOPA, she said she began flight lessons later in her 40s. She first tried fixed-wing flying, then found herself drawn to helicopters.
She also started Black Ops Aviation, an aerial film and production company.
