McDonald’s Hong Kong launched a limited-time Dragon Ball DAIMA collaboration on November 14, 2024. Its menu featured a chicken katsu burger, purple sweet potato balls, okonomiyaki-flavored fries seasoning and a white grape-yoghurt soda. The campaign’s announced prices and offers are historical; the available official notices do not establish that any items or collectibles are still available.
What was on the McDonald’s Hong Kong Dragon Ball DAIMA menu?
McDonald’s Hong Kong announced the promotion on November 13, 2024, with the campaign beginning the following day. The limited-time menu brought Japanese-inspired flavors to several items:
- A chicken katsu burger, offered as an extra value meal for HK$39 at the time.
- Crispy purple sweet potato balls.
- Okonomiyaki-flavored Shake Shake Fries seasoning.
- A white grape and yoghurt-flavored soda with fruit cocktail.
These details and the historical burger-meal price appear in McDonald’s Hong Kong’s November 13, 2024 announcement. The HK$39 figure was a campaign price, not a current menu price.
What came with the app collector’s meal?
McDonald’s Hong Kong separately described a Dragon Ball DAIMA Limited-edition Collector’s Meal coupon for app users, priced at HK$49 during the promotion. It included the chicken katsu burger meal and five crispy purple sweet potato balls, along with a limited-quantity paper bag featuring Goku (mini) and Supreme Kai (mini). The release said the bags were available while supplies lasted; it does not confirm present-day stock. See the official campaign announcement for the historical offer.

Which characters appeared on the packaging?
The campaign announcement said themed artwork appeared on boxes, beverage cups and takeaway paper bags. Named characters included Goku (mini), Vegeta (mini), Bulma (mini), Supreme Kai (mini), Piccolo (mini), Glorio and Gomah; the Seven Dragon Balls also appeared. McDonald’s described the items as having animated-theme packaging.
Was there a Dragon Ball DAIMA Happy Meal toy?
The official campaign announcement reviewed here describes themed food packaging, the app collector’s meal and its character paper bag; it does not establish that McDonald’s offered a DAIMA Happy Meal toy. A community discussion using the question “WHAT IS THE HAPPY MEAL TOY” is anecdotal and does not verify a toy offer.

Did McDonald’s also offer Dragon Ball DAIMA cards?
A later official McDonald’s Hong Kong release is indexed as announcing limited-edition DAIMA cards. Its search excerpt says app users could purchase designated DAIMA meals and redeem one of four cards. The release PDF could not be accessed, so the full eligibility rules, dates and redemption terms are not established here. The announcement also does not confirm that the cards remain available.
