What was included in “Shania’s Sides”?
McDonald’s Canada announced the collaboration on August 11, 2025, with the items scheduled to launch the following day at participating restaurants across Canada. The company also named the McDonald’s app and McDelivery as ordering channels for the launch. Those details describe the 2025 promotion, not current availability. McDonald’s Canada’s announcement

All Dressed McShaker Fries
The fries were coated with All Dressed seasoning. McDonald’s said the potatoes were 100% Canadian; that statement applies to the potatoes, not to every ingredient or the full meal. The announcement describes the seasoning on the fries and does not establish that McDonald’s sold it separately as a retail product.
Strawberry Pie
The pie was described as having real strawberry pieces in a flaky crust.

Cowboy boot keychain
The limited-edition keychain was offered with an Extra Value Meal purchase, excluding McValue Meals and Happy Meals. The release limited the offer to one keychain per qualifying purchase, while supplies lasted. It did not say the keepsake was available for separate purchase.
Why Shania Twain called the collaboration a homecoming
McDonald’s Canada connected the promotion to Twain’s earlier work as a crew member at a McDonald’s in Toronto. Twain said, “This collaboration feels like a homecoming for me,” and recalled falling in love with the fries while working there. The campaign gave that personal connection a menu form: she could add her own touch to the fries she remembered.

Is the promotion available now?
The announcement is dated August 11, 2025, and says the launch was scheduled for August 12, subject to participation and supply limits. It does not confirm present stock, current menus or whether any restaurant still offers the keychain. Anyone checking availability should verify directly with a local McDonald’s Canada restaurant or current ordering channel rather than assume the past launch offer remains active.
