The film opened in U.S. theaters on June 5, 2026, and Prime Video currently describes it as streaming globally. Viewing availability can vary by country, so check local listings.
When did Masters of the Universe come out?
Mattel announced June 5, 2026, as the U.S. theatrical release date, with Amazon MGM Studios handling the U.S. release. Sony Pictures International Releasing was named for international theatrical distribution that June. Mattel’s release announcement and its March trailer announcement both advertised the film for theaters on that date.
Where can you watch it?
As of October 8, 2026, Amazon’s film guide says Masters of the Universe is streaming on Prime Video globally. Sony Pictures UK’s film page, checked the same day, says “Only In Cinemas Now.” Those listings can differ because theatrical and streaming windows vary by territory; neither statement guarantees the same availability in every country. Check Prime Video and your local cinema listings for current options.
