MARVEL SNAP’s October 2026 season is Vampires vs. Zombies, with its first scheduled content beginning October 6. The season centers on two mechanics: Vampire cards steal Power from opponents, while Zombie cards add Power to a shared Horde pool. The official announcement, published October 2, lists eight new cards, two locations, two albums, and a month of events; check its schedule for any time-sensitive dates.
How the Vampire and Zombie mechanics work
The season’s central choice is between stealing Power and building it up for a later effect. Vampire cards take Power from opposing cards or characters; Zombie cards contribute to the Horde, a shared pool that grows during the game. As the official season announcement explains, “Whenever a Zombie card says ‘Horde +N,’ it’s adding Power directly to a shared pool that grows as the game goes on.”
Season-pass cards: Vampire Killmonger or Zombie Blade
The Premium pass features Vampire Killmonger, while the Super Premium pass features Zombie Blade. The announcement does not provide pass prices, so this is a comparison of the listed cards and mechanics, not a price comparison.
| Card | Pass | Listed effect |
|---|---|---|
| Vampire Killmonger | Premium | At end of turn, if you spent all your Energy, get a Vampiric Spear. On reveal, the Spear steals 2 Power from a character in the opponent’s hand. |
| Zombie Blade | Super Premium | At end of turn, if you played an On Reveal card, the Zombie Horde steals 1 Power from a character in the opponent’s hand; the Horde is used first if necessary. |
The announcement says to buy Premium or Super Premium through the official Web Shop to receive the season-pass bonus. An in-game Premium-to-Super-Premium upgrade will not trigger that bonus. The Web Shop describes its inventory as digital content, including passes, bundles, and Gold. Visit the official MARVEL SNAP Web Shop.
