But the synopsis for the reunion’s second part does not identify that secret, and episode descriptions alone do not establish that a cast member lied. Here is what the listings actually say—and where the public record stops.
What is confirmed about Season 17?
Netflix Tudum identifies Season 17 as a Denver season with five matched couples. Its cast-and-viewing article is useful for the setting and premise; it does not substantiate allegations about what happened after Decision Day.

For the post-decision timeline, Lifetime’s official episode guide supplies the broadcast dates and episode synopses. Google Play’s Season 17 catalog supplies additional summaries of episodes and the companion Afterparty. Those summaries establish what a program listing says an episode discusses, not necessarily the full context of a scene or the truth of a participant’s account.
When did the post–Decision Day revelations unfold?
| Date | Episode or listing | What the official description establishes |
|---|---|---|
| February 28, 2024 | Sex, Lies & Questionable Behavior; Decision Day Dish: Denver | Lifetime says one wife receives a bombshell that threatens her marriage. Google Play describes the companion discussion as former cast members revisiting controversial season moments. Neither listing identifies the bombshell or establishes that it was the secret later mentioned in the reunion synopsis. |
| March 6, 2024 | Decision Day Round One | Lifetime says Decision Day arrives for most of the couples. |
| March 13, 2024 | Climbing Down From Decision Day | Lifetime describes the aftermath and second-guessing. |
| March 20, 2024 | Doubts, Dilemmas and Drag! | Lifetime describes changes after Decision Day. |
| March 27, 2024 | Second Time’s the Charm? | Lifetime frames the episode around life after Decision Day. Google Play says its companion episode discusses Michael and Chloe’s Decision Day with Emily and Becca. |
| April 10, 2024 | Denver Reunion, Part 1 | Lifetime says the returning cast revisits the season’s dramatic moments amid high tensions. Google Play says they discuss why relationships became contentious. |
| April 17, 2024 | Denver Reunion, Part 2 | Google Play says cast members challenge one another about their truths and that “a shocking new secret is exposed,” leading to tears and animosity. The listing does not name the secret. |
| April 24, 2024 | Where Are They Now: To Hurt or to Heal | Lifetime describes Denver singles reuniting while the marriage drama continues. |
Which conflicts did the Afterparty listings identify?
The companion-show summaries name several subjects that were discussed across the season. They help locate the on- and off-camera moments the cast revisited, but they are not independent findings about what those moments prove.
#1 Best Overall
- Becca and Austin’s religious differences: A January 3 Google Play listing says the episode discusses a religious rift between Becca and Austin.
- Clare and Cameron’s off-camera moment: The same January 3 listing mentions a shocking off-camera moment involving Clare and Cameron. It does not provide details sufficient to establish exactly what happened or how to interpret it.
- Chloe’s wedding, a jacuzzi exchange, and Emily and Brennan: A January 10 listing says Chloe, Brennan, and Austin discuss the lead-up to Chloe’s wedding, a jacuzzi exchange, and an off-camera night involving Emily and Brennan. These are listed topics, not proof of a specific allegation.
- Emily’s ATV accident: A February 7 listing mentions the accident. A later official listing says Emily was cautiously optimistic, while Emily, Becca, and Michael discussed Austin’s on- and off-camera behavior.
- Chloe and Michael after Decision Day: A subsequent listing says Chloe’s decision to take a break from Michael was discussed. The March 27 listing identifies Michael and Chloe’s Decision Day as a topic, but does not provide a full account of their conversation or the decision’s aftermath.
What was the reunion’s “new secret”?
The reviewed Google Play synopsis for Denver Reunion, Part 2 confirms only that the episode says a “shocking new secret is exposed.” It does not name the secret, identify who it concerns, or explain the evidence behind it. The official Lifetime episode guide establishes the reunion date and broad subject, but its synopsis does not resolve the identity either.
That means the secret cannot responsibly be identified from these official summaries alone. Naming a particular cast member or allegation as the answer would go beyond what the listings establish. The same caution applies to the February 28 “bombshell”: the synopsis does not say what it was or connect it to the reunion’s later phrase.

How to separate a listed topic from a proven lie
“Secrets and lies” is a dramatic framing, but the listings use it to describe program subjects and reunion conflict; they do not adjudicate every disputed account. When assessing a specific claim, look for four things:
- Where it appeared: Was it in a main episode, an Afterparty discussion, the reunion, or the April 24 follow-up?
- Who made the claim: Is it a participant speaking about their own experience, another cast member’s allegation, or only an episode synopsis?
- What the evidence is: Is the relevant statement or moment actually in aired footage, or is it summarized by a catalog listing?
- Whether it is corroborated: Does another attributable source support the specific account, or is it still an unresolved disagreement?
For this season, the official pages establish the chronology and several discussion topics. They do not supply a named, attributable statement resolving the reunion’s unidentified secret, nor do they establish that every topic described amounts to a lie.
