PerthNow characterized the couple as having been together for eight months. That is the outlet’s description of their time together, rather than independently verified relationship-duration data.

Harper said the ending came unexpectedly
Harper said she had chosen Eynaud at final vows intending a long-term relationship. In a statement quoted by PerthNow and Nine, she wrote: “I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end.”

Eynaud confirmed the relationship ended before the finale aired
Eynaud said the two returned to the Gold Coast after filming and continued getting to know each other. Nine quoted his statement: “However, unfortunately, our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing.”
Did they explain why they broke up?
Their initial public statements establish that the relationship ended, but they do not give a single jointly confirmed explanation for why. In later coverage, Nine reported Harper’s account of a disagreement about expectations for staying over, which she discussed on the Sit With Us podcast. That is Harper’s account of the context, not a mutually confirmed cause.

What is known about their relationship now?
The reports cited here document the April 2024 split and the participants’ accounts at that time. They do not establish whether Harper and Eynaud later reconciled, remain in contact, or are together now. Their current status should not be inferred from the breakup announcement alone.
