What did Tim say in response?
In a later account, New Idea reported Tim’s comments to Yahoo Lifestyle. He said he was “100% faithful to Sara” and added: “The only person I was romantically involved with during the experiment was Sara, which is more than I can say about others.” These are Tim’s denials as relayed by New Idea; they do not independently settle what happened. No. During a phone-sharing challenge, Sara declined to hand over her phone, explaining that they had known one another for about a week and that phones can be private. There was also a second-hand claim on air. PerthNow quoted radio host Kyle Sandilands saying that people he knew in Queensland had told him Tim had been involved with another woman during filming. Sandilands prefaced it with, “I don’t know if this is true,” making clear he was repeating hearsay. Sara’s reported surprise at hearing the claim does not confirm it. [c002]

What can viewers conclude?
The accounts differ in their source and evidentiary weight: an unnamed insider made the allegation, Sandilands repeated an explicitly second-hand claim, and Tim gave a direct denial in a later interview. The articles reviewed do not provide independent evidence that resolves the allegation.
