Madison Square Garden on December 9
Madison Square Garden’s event page identifies the December 17 show and says Carey would perform at the Garden on December 9 and 17. The December 9 date was not part of the October 2 list.
How many shows were there?
The initial venue notice counted 13 dates. The Mariah Network, a fan-maintained archive, later records 16 performances in all, including a second Hollywood Bowl show on November 19 and further Cleveland and New York performances. That 16-show figure is the archive’s later tally, not the count in the original announcement; an official consolidated itinerary for the expanded run is not established by the cited venue records. The Mariah Network archive also reports a setlist featuring Christmas songs, a medley of Carey hits, “We Belong Together,” “Hero,” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

What the holiday shows were billed to include
The official venue description framed the performances as Carey’s exclusive Christmas concerts for the 2023 holiday season, combining seasonal classics—including “All I Want For Christmas Is You”—with fan-favorite chart hits. The venue and organizer announcement describes that mix. Carey’s Instagram caption, reproduced by iHeart on October 2, read: “Yes, the actual defrosting has begun! Announcing the MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL Tour!❤️”
