That date has passed: the centre now lists Timezone as a tenant in its Alfresco Precinct. The opening announcement described a 1,200-square-metre venue with more than 70 arcade games and several group activities.
When was Timezone at Mandurah Forum due to open?
Timezone announced an opening time of 10 a.m. on Saturday, 13 September 2025. The specific date appeared in a PerthNow / Mandurah Times report published on 26 August 2025, which said the venue “will open” then. Mandurah Forum’s current directory now lists Timezone as a venue tenant, though that listing does not independently confirm the precise day the venue began operating. PerthNow / Mandurah Times’ opening report and the current venue listing provide those two points.
What did the opening announcement say the venue would include?
The 2025 opening report described a 1,200-square-metre venue with more than 70 arcade games. Those are figures in the announcement, not independently audited measurements. It also named these attractions and facilities:
- Laser tag
- Four short-lane bowling lanes
- Two party rooms
- ColourGrid, described in the report as Western Australia’s first interactive floor game
The announcement attributed the venue plans to Kane Fong, Timezone and Zone Bowling Australia general manager. He said the company was “incredibly proud to return to our home state with a fresh new venue” and that “the Mandurah community has a real appetite for experiences that bring people together.”

Opening announcements establish the planned attractions, but they do not confirm which activities are available on a particular day, current prices, booking requirements or present operating hours. Check the centre’s Timezone listing directly for current visit details before travelling or planning a party.

Why did earlier coverage give a different timeframe?
An Australasian Leisure Management report on 14 September 2024 forecast a late-2025 opening. That was an earlier estimate; the later, more specific announcement gave 13 September 2025 at 10 a.m. The 2024 report is useful as background, not as the current opening date.
