Panthadikkam is a Malayalam football docuseries about Kerala’s deep connection to the game, narrated by Mammootty, according to a September 30, 2026 release report. The report announced an October 1 premiere on ZEE5 and described the series as five episodes. ZEE5’s pages use variant spellings—including “Pandhadikkam” and “Panthadikkaam”—so those may help when searching its catalogue.

When did it premiere, and how many episodes are there?
The dates shown across the available listings do not describe the same event. Filmibeat’s September 30, 2026 report announced an October 1 premiere on ZEE5. ZEE5’s trailer listing displays September 25, 2026, while its episode 2 listing is dated October 1. The trailer date should not be confused with the announced premiere date.
Rank #2
Filmibeat describes the documentary series as five episodes. ZEE5’s main title page currently has inconsistent total-episode metadata, so that count is not settled by the platform’s headline listing. Check the live title and episode pages for the current catalogue.
ZEE5 lists episode 2 as “The Latin American Brothers Of Munda,” with a runtime of 21 minutes. That figure applies to this individual episode, not necessarily the duration of the series as a whole.
