In April 2024, Us Weekly reported that it had obtained photos showing Maggie Sajak and actor Ross McCall kissing and holding hands during a dog walk in Los Angeles. The outlet said the pictures were taken in late March. Neither person had publicly discussed the relationship in the contemporaneous coverage, so the images were a reported sighting—not a direct public confirmation from either of them.
What was reported about the Los Angeles outing
Us Weekly published its account on April 8, 2024, describing photos of Sajak and McCall kissing and holding hands while walking a dog in Los Angeles. The magazine said the images were taken late the previous month, but its accessible report did not give an exact date for the outing. Us Weekly’s April 8 report is the source for the photo description and timing.
E! News covered the photos on April 9 and noted that neither Sajak nor McCall had publicly spoken about the relationship at that point. Its headline described Sajak as confirming she was dating McCall, but the distinction matters: the article’s account of the images and its relationship framing are not the same as a direct statement from either person. E! News’ contemporaneous report recorded the lack of public comment.
What the photos did—and did not—establish
The images, as described by the outlets, showed an affectionate outing. Entertainment coverage characterized it as a romance, but the reporting cited here does not establish when a relationship began, how long it lasted, or a breakup date. It also does not provide a direct April 2024 confirmation from Sajak or McCall. The most careful description is that they were photographed together and outlets reported the sighting as romantic.

Later comments and relationship context
McCall’s unnamed-partner remark in 2024
TV Insider reported on September 21, 2024, that McCall had discussed a new relationship during an August 2 episode of Jenny Mollen’s All the Fails podcast. In the context of that conversation, he said, “It’s early.” He did not name Maggie, so the remark is not, by itself, a confirmation that he was discussing her. TV Insider’s account of the podcast remarks provides that qualification.
Later reporting in 2026
In an April 23, 2026 report about Sajak’s dating history, Us Weekly said she had gone public with Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson and referred to McCall as a past relationship link.
