Love Next Door is a Korean romantic comedy about Bae Seok-ryu returning to Korea to start over and becoming entangled with her childhood friend, Choi Seung-hyo, with whom she shares a complicated history. Jung So-min plays Seok-ryu and Jung Hae-in plays Seung-hyo; Kim Ji-eun plays their childhood friend Jeong Mo-eum. The story is set in fictional Hyereung-dong in Seoul. Netflix Tudum says the series is not based on a book.
