Anderson spoke warmly about the adoption. At a 2021 unveiling of a bronze bust at Reynolds’ Hollywood grave site, she called adopting Quinton “the best decision that we ever made in our entire relationship,” according to the Associated Press.
Who were Loni Anderson’s husbands?

- Bruce Hasselberg: Anderson married Hasselberg in 1964, and the marriage ended in 1966. Their daughter, Deidra, was born from this marriage.
- Ross Bickell: Anderson married Bickell in 1974. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1981.
- Burt Reynolds: Anderson married Reynolds in 1988. They adopted Quinton together. Reports differ on whether their divorce took place in 1993 or 1994, so the marriage is best described as ending in divorce in the mid-1990s. A contemporaneous UPI report identified Reynolds as Anderson’s third husband.
- Bob Flick: Anderson married Flick in 2008, and he was her husband at the time of her death in 2025. At their wedding, Quinton walked her down the aisle, according to a contemporaneous Los Angeles Times report from the Associated Press.
What did Anderson say about her relationship with Reynolds?
Anderson later reflected on the intense public attention surrounding her relationship with Reynolds. In remarks reported by the Associated Press, she said they had been “a spectacle all the time” and that it was hard to have a relationship in that atmosphere, “through many ups and downs.” The comment is her retrospective account of the attention they faced, not a detailed account of the private reasons their marriage ended.
Anderson also discussed her approach to telling her own story in her 1995 autobiography, My Life in High Heels. While promoting the book, she said that writing about herself meant doing so “warts and all” and telling the truth, even when it did not show her in the nicest light, as quoted by the Associated Press.

Who survived Anderson?
The Associated Press’s obituary named Deidra and Quinton among Anderson’s survivors, along with grandchildren McKenzie and Megan Hoffman, stepson Adam Flick, and step-grandchildren Felix and Maximilian. Her family story centered on her two children and four marriages, with Flick as her husband at her death.
