If your scheduled YouTube live stream is still offline, first verify the scheduled time and your device’s time zone, the connected YouTube channel, and the link between your LiveReacting project and the intended YouTube event. Then check LiveReacting’s dashboard for errors. If LiveReacting says the stream is live while YouTube says offline, LiveReacting says YouTube may still be processing the start; that status mismatch alone does not establish a failure or a fixed waiting time.
Why is my scheduled YouTube live stream still offline?
The likely causes to check first are a time-zone or start-time mismatch, the wrong or disconnected YouTube channel, an error shown in LiveReacting, or a project linked to a different scheduled YouTube event. LiveReacting’s troubleshooting guidance also notes that YouTube may still be processing the start when LiveReacting reports the stream as live. Its guidance does not specify a universal number of minutes to wait.
Work through these checks in order

Verify the start time and time zone
LiveReacting schedules using the device’s time zone. Compare the scheduled time with the intended local start time and check which time zone the device was using when you scheduled the broadcast. Confirm the connected YouTube channel
Check that the project is connected to the YouTube channel where the event is scheduled, and that the connection is still active. A valid connection to a different channel will not send the stream to the intended event. LiveReacting recommends confirming the channel connection when a stream fails. LiveReacting troubleshooting.

Look for an error in LiveReacting
Inspect the LiveReacting dashboard for an error message before changing the event or recreating the broadcast. The dashboard is one of LiveReacting’s recommended checks for this symptom. LiveReacting troubleshooting.

Check which YouTube event the project uses
If you created the scheduled event in YouTube separately, make sure the LiveReacting project is connected to that exact event. In LiveReacting’s advanced setting, choose Connect to existing stream and select the intended scheduled stream. The event dropdown can show information such as its title and description, which helps distinguish it from another event on the channel. If you did not schedule a separate YouTube event, check that you are using the intended channel and the schedule created for your LiveReacting project rather than selecting an unrelated event.

When LiveReacting says live but YouTube says offline, allow for processing
LiveReacting describes this status mismatch by saying, “YouTube is usually still processing the stream start.” That is LiveReacting’s explanation, not a stated YouTube rule or a guarantee about how long processing takes. If the stream has failed, reconnect or recreate it
After checking for dashboard errors and confirming the channel connection, follow LiveReacting’s recommendation to recreate the stream and start again. Verify the destination and scheduled event during setup so the replacement broadcast is associated with the intended channel and event. LiveReacting troubleshooting.
For repeat or multi-date schedules, check for a stale project snapshot
LiveReacting says advanced schedules take a snapshot of the project state. In multi-date or repeat scheduling modes, dates, duration, title, and description cannot be edited in place after scheduling. If one of those details is wrong, cancel the affected schedule, update the project, and schedule it again. These constraints apply to those advanced schedule modes; do not assume they apply to every scheduled stream. LiveReacting advanced scheduling.
