Liv Morgan returned at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, 2025, after an injury absence. Her latest major storyline update came on the October 5, 2026 episode of Raw: her number-one-contender match with Becky Lynch ended in a no-contest, and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer announced a triple-threat title match with both challengers at Money in the Bank.
What happened in Liv Morgan’s Survivor Series return?
Morgan made her return during Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship match against John Cena at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, 2025. WrestleTalk reported that Morgan initially appeared to turn on Mysterio, then interfered against Cena to help Mysterio win. WWE followed up on December 1 with a post titled “Liv Morgan is officially BACK!”
WrestleTalk described the absence as five months. Fightful later reported that Morgan had been sidelined since June 2025 after dislocating her right shoulder and needing surgery. Those injury and timeline details are reported accounts; WWE’s Survivor Series follow-up confirmed the return, not the medical history.
How Morgan described the comeback
In comments attributed by WrestleTalk to her appearance on What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, Morgan said: “I couldn’t have planned a better return. Honestly if I had the choice to write out my dream scenario, that was over the top. I couldn’t have even written that return.” WrestleTalk published the remarks on January 8, 2026.

I don’t know.” These are Morgan’s reflections as reported by the outlet, rather than an explanation of the match’s booking.
What is Morgan’s latest WWE storyline?
According to WWE’s results for Raw on October 5, 2026, Morgan and Becky Lynch were competing in a number-one-contender match when Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer intervened. WWE recorded the bout as a no-contest. Vaquer then announced that she would defend the Women’s World Championship against both Morgan and Lynch at Money in the Bank, making it a triple threat.
