What album is Paramore’s version on?
“Burning Down the House” appears on Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense. It is a cover on a tribute compilation, not a Paramore studio album or standalone release. When the project was announced on January 31, 2024, it was described as a 16-song LP whose sequence followed the tracklist of Talking Heads’ 1984 concert film and corresponding live album Stop Making Sense. Pitchfork’s announcement also identified Paramore’s recording as the compilation’s lead track.
How the cover fits the tribute
The album was later released with 16 recording artists covering every track, according to the Associated Press’s 2024 review. In that review, AP writer Jim Pollock characterized Paramore’s take as “a faithful rendition”—a critical judgment rather than a production credit or statement from the band. Read the AP review.
