Logitech’s January 27, 2022 DEFY LOGIC campaign video previewed Lizzo’s song “Special.” The company presented the video as part of a campaign about individuality and challenging expectations—not as the song’s standalone commercial release.
What was the Logitech campaign video?
Logitech announced the video as the next chapter of its DEFY LOGIC brand campaign. The company said the campaign aimed to encourage individuality and champion people who defy expectations while pursuing their passions, positioning its products as tools for creating, working and playing. Those are Logitech’s stated aims for the campaign.
Logitech global chief marketing officer Najoh Tita-Reid said at the time: “We want to encourage all people to redefine what is possible, and empower people to reshape the future and change the world.”
Who else took part?
Logitech named six other creators as participants in this campaign chapter: Bretman Rock, Elsa Majimbo, DJ_Dave, Danucd, Defaced and Kheris Rogers.

What products are shown in the video?
Logitech’s announcement described the campaign as demonstrating the possibilities, range and creative versatility of its products, but did not give a product-by-product inventory for the Lizzo video. A later Logitech giveaway page, published in February 2023, listed an autographed StreamCam, POP Keys, POP Mouse, Studio Series Desk Mat and Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3 in a “Special” prize bundle. That later bundle does not establish that those products—or the StreamCam in particular—appeared in the 2022 video.
How long is the video?
Contemporary trade publication The Drum reported a runtime of 90 seconds and described the video as the next chapter of DEFY LOGIC. Logitech’s announcement did not state a duration.

What happened with “Special” afterward?
In a later announcement about the Song Breaker Awards, Logitech said Lizzo had previewed “Special” as part of the DEFY LOGIC campaign earlier in 2022 and was to perform the song at the awards. This supports the campaign-preview context: the January video introduced the song, rather than serving as its standalone release.
