What Lisa’s ‘Rockstar’ snippet showed
Lisa teased the forthcoming track on social media earlier in June 2024, after launching her TikTok account, according to Sony Music Canada’s June 18 announcement. A Rolling Stone Canada search-result excerpt described the preview as a 10-second music-video snippet shared on TikTok and YouTube, and quoted the audible line, “It’s so hype, hype/ Baby I’m a rockstar.” That duration and lyric are reported here with attribution to the excerpt; the publisher page was not accessible for direct review.
The clip was a teaser, not the complete single or its finished official video. Its immediate purpose was to preview a specific upcoming release; Lisa’s formal announcement followed on June 18.

Why the release was significant for Lisa’s solo career
Sony described “Rockstar” as Lisa’s first single released under a new partnership between LLOUD Co. and RCA Records. That makes the announcement more than a release-date notice: it introduced the first single under the arrangement, while Lisa’s earlier social-media post served as its preview.
Sony’s June 18 notice also said Lisa reached one million TikTok followers in two hours and 18 minutes after launching her account, attributing the record claim to Guinness World Records. The notice did not specify the year for that record claim.

The finished single and official video
Sony Music Canada’s June 28 release notice confirmed that the single and official video were out, identifying June 27 as the release day. The notice credits Ryan Tedder and Sam Homaee as producers, Henry Schofield as video director, and Sean Bankhead as choreographer. It says the video was filmed on location in Bangkok and presents it as an ode to Thai culture and authentic Thai street life.
For listeners checking the digital release, Apple Music’s U.S. catalog listing identifies “Rockstar – Single” as a 2024 pop release dated June 27. Its catalog metadata lists five songs and a total duration of 11 minutes, with ℗ 2024 RCA Records under exclusive license from Lloud Co. Those details describe the listed digital package and do not establish a physical edition.
