In a Fantástico interview broadcast May 11, 2025, Linn da Quebrada spoke about depression, substance abuse, hospitalization and returning to work after treatment. She described an earlier involuntary hospitalization and a later experience in which, she said, she felt loved despite the public exposure of what she was going through.
What Linn da Quebrada said in the interview
The interview was about returning to work after treatment. Gshow reported that Linn had left a rehabilitation clinic about three weeks earlier, after spending a month there. Her remarks were personal reflections on illness and treatment, not a clinical account from an outside evaluator. Gshow
UOL reported that Linn said she had not initially accepted that she was ill or understood depression. She also described substance abuse as part of what she was experiencing. CNN Brasil reported her metaphor of trying to fill emotional “buracos” (holes) through substance use; that was her description, not a clinical explanation. UOL Splash CNN Brasil
How she described the two hospitalizations
The earlier hospitalization
Linn said her first hospitalization took place in April 2024 and was involuntary. She said that at the time she did not accept that she was ill and did not understand depression. Gshow reported that she described four months of treatment. Gshow UOL Splash

The later hospitalization
In March 2025, UOL reported that Linn had been hospitalized again and that her team asked the press and public to respect her privacy while she focused on treatment. In the May interview, she distinguished this later experience from the earlier one, saying: “Eu me senti muito amada, apesar de como as coisas foram expostas aqui fora” (“I felt very loved, despite how things were exposed out here”). Her response to the video circulating online
Linn addressed a video that had circulated publicly. Gshow quoted her questioning whether the video’s alleged location should determine whether she deserved compassion: “E por isso eu pergunto, qual é o problema daquele vídeo? Se eu estivesse na Cracolândia, eu não mereceria mais amor?” She reportedly clarified that the video was not near Cracolândia, while acknowledging her vulnerability and abusive substance use. The location claim was disputed by Linn and should not be treated as established fact. Gshow CNN Brasil

What the interview establishes—and what it does not
The reports provide Linn’s account of her experiences and of how public exposure felt to her. They do not establish a present-day health status, offer an independent diagnosis, or verify the precise wording and context of the title phrase “I Gave It Too Little Value.” It should not be presented as a confirmed direct quotation without a checked interview transcript or recording.
For background on the privacy request made during her March 2025 treatment, see UOL Splash’s March 18 report. Additional coverage of the May interview was published by Capricho; it is a secondary feature, not a transcript.
